Chilly Paneer Dry Recipe

I remember my child hood days when I used to go with my parents in a restaurant, at that time there was a huge craze for Chinese dishes. I and my sis always used to order Manchurian and Chilly paneer.
Even today, the craze has not gone, we all love Chinese dishes.
This time I prepared for my dearest hubby this very special dish "Chilly Paneer".
Spicy and sweet just like married life.

Ingredients

For marinade and frying
Paneer - 250 gm
Maida/ plain flour - 4 tbs
Salt
Pepper - 1/2 tsp
Water - 1/4-1/2 cup
Oil for shallow frying

For sauce
Onion - 2 medium ( cubed )
Capsicum (green) - 1
Green chillies - 2(diagnoly cut )
Chopped ginger - 1 tsp
Chopped garlic - 1tsp
Cabbage- Shredded
Ching's secret paneer chilli sauce mix
Tomato sauce/ tomato ketchup - 2 tbs
Honey- 2tsp
Oil- 2 big tsp
Salt

Method:
1.       In a bowl mix maida and paneer cubes.
2.       Shallow fry the paneer cubes until its light brown.
3.       In a pan add oil, chopped ginger and chopped garlic and fry for 1-2 minutes.
4.       Add chillies and after few seconds add chopped onion, saute until onion is soft.
5.       Now Add some veggies, capsicum, cabbage….(you can also add zucchini, broccoli, for some variation)
6.       Stir the veggies for 1-2 minutes.
7.       In a small bowl, take water and add ching's secret paneer chilli sauce mix. Mix the mixture well to  remove the lumps
8.       Add this mixture in the kadai and stir well.
9.       Now add paneer, tomato ketchup and honey and stir for a minute.
Honey minimizes the strong flavour of Chinese masala and gives a sweet touch.
1.     I served this dish on cabbage that gave it an interesting look.

ENJOY!!

Geometric nail art Tutorial

Hi All,
Today i have a tutorial for you...inspired by geometric shapes with different shades of colors(red, pink, blue and green). I feel this design to be very easy and can be experimented with contrast color choices.

Step 1:Choose one of the colors and draw a diagonal line starting from middle of tip and extend it to the bottom. Fill in the space as shown.

Step 2Take other color and draw a line in opposite direction and fill it.

Step 3Take other color and draw a horizontal line  the two joints and fill it.

Step 4Fill the empty space with the color of your choice.

Step 5Now break the colors by drawing lines in between the colors using brush and black nail polish.

Now allow it to dry completely and layer it with a top coat. This will smooth-en any ridges and will give a shiny look to your nail art.
I am not any professional nail art artist but i learn it by myself and love to share it with you guys.
I hope the tutorial was helpful and do share your nail art guys.

My Weekend Party!!!

Its party time the coming weekend and if you ask me what's the occasion den I would just have one answer to say....."Parties are not always thrown for any Occasion".
I believe party is the best way to spend some quality time with yours friends, relatives and colleagues. And when it comes to organizing it, the first think that comes to my mind is the "Cuisine".
This time I m inviting my college friends and they are totally mad about food or I must say food lovers!! Hence a tough task from my side to decide a menu which is tasty, delicious as well as quick to prepare.
But it would be a surprise to my friends as i m not gonna serve any Thai, Italian or Chinese food. Its a pure Indian food which is totally unexpected from me. Seriously speaking I am not good at Indian food but when I came across Kitchens of India "Authentic Indian Cuisine" I thought Indian food can be made easy.
I picked up some of the ready to cook products from Kitchens of India "…
